Wishing and hoping...

Life has been just plan busy! But God is good! On Christmas morning there was a bright and beautiful rainbow outside my in-laws as we opened presents....and a short time later...three more, full rainbows as we traveled to our grandparents. It was a sweet reminder for us to keep our eyes focused on Christ and his birth!

I had been hoping to have some sweet Christmas pictures posted....but we have been house sitting for our friends and my camera connection cable is lost some where at our house. Hopefully soon :-)

Scarf Modeling!

Here is what happens when I am home alone with the computer. Instead of being productive...I decided to be ridiculous and goofy and model the many uses for my new scarf from Gap. At least Corey could see all that I accomplished.

It's beginning to look a lot like christmas!

Here are a few pictures as I begin to decorate for Christmas. More to come once we pick out our tree. As this Christmas approaches, I feel God reminding me to remember what Christmas is all about.  I find myself getting caught in the winter whirlwind! Shopping, decorating, anticipating Christmas parties, baking cookies and festivity of Christmas. I have lately been reminded how blessed we are.  For my sweet and loving husband, our jobs, a place to call home, such amazing family and friends and most importantly our Savior. A Savior that choose to give Himself to save a sinner like me.  "My chains are gone, I've been set free, my God my Savior, has ransomed me and like a flood his mercy rains. Unending love, Amazing Grace.".

 Only 24 day's to go!

Thanksgiving 2008

Thanksgiving was at our house this year! It was great to have Corey's family out for a few nights and my mom, sister and Phill make it out Thanksgiving day. We had a busy day of cooking and munching on yummy food. We had a great game of Scrabble going in the afternoon and a sweet walk on the bluffs for family pictures!

An attempt to make a cute Thanksgiving dinner table.

Part of the center-piece before the candle caught a leaf on fire!

This is Cheebee (not sure the spelling of this one) our landloards dog that we were dog-sitting. He was quite to little stinker at times and who knew he could shake and give high-five's!
