And were off.....
Were almost packed and ready to head off to Haiti. Our flight leaves later this evening...so well be arriving to Haiti tomorrow and then taking a much smaller (6 person) plane and flying into Hiche. I've had nothing but a flood of thoughts in my head today. I am eager to return to Haiti and nervous at the same time. I am not a big fan of flying, little or big planes. I know once we arrive in Hinche and start working, the excitement will set in....and we have been waiting a year to return. I have been reminded today of my favorite verse.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understandings. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
Please keep us in your prays over the next week. That we will have many opportunities to serve the Haitians by meeting their medical needs and their spiritual needs as well.

Blueberries and Breakfast!
The Third Wave
Last night Corey and I along with our good friends Robin and Jared, had the opportunity to watch the premier of The Third Wave at the "Los Angeles City of Angeles" film festival in Hollywood. We were invited by one of Corey's co-workers who was a friend of the director. This was a documentary style film about four volunteers determined to help during the 2004 tsunami in Sir Lanka. This film to me was a great encouragement on why to serve and one avenue on how to serve. I definitely recommend this film. Check out their website for more information! www.thethirdwavemovie.com
